Do you know anyone who has connected a front panel USBC to their X670E system? I own an Asrock X670E Steel Legend and a 7800X3D paired with a G Skill Flare X5 32 GB 6000 CL 30 setup. Expo is active but PBO isn’t enabled yet (probably until the latest updates are applied). I’m running the newest chipset driver from AMD (amd_chipset_software_5.05.16.529). I’ve got a link to a USB charging adapter (B07T5QQZG4) and a NVME to USB adapter (B08QTXNCKD). I’ve inserted my old 1TB Intel 660P and 970 EVO Plus into them. They function fine on my laptops (Surface Pro and AMD Advantage Asus), but they fail on this front panel when exposed to the crystal disk mark. The activity light flashes brightly for about five seconds before stopping completely. Even if I force-stop them, they hang in Windows Explorer. Any attempts to modify or copy files don’t help. USB 2/3 works through the same front panel with regular USB sticks. Plugging it into the rear USB port gives normal performance (1GB/s read/write). If I connect it via the case’s USB 3 headers—those are strictly USB 3—the drives still work, thanks to a USBC-to-USB-A connector on top. The 3.5-inch bay also supports USB mice and wireless adapters just like before. Anyone else facing this issue? It’s really frustrating... At least using the rear USB port with the 970 EVO Plus is working, and the 660P being a big stick helps if I can get it to USB 3, but still...
