Toshiba s55 b5280 won't turn on. The 2 little lights in front turn on. I don't hear anything
I have:
Held the power button down when the power is unplugged and the battery is removed
Reseated and cleaned the RAM and HD
Connected to an HDMI external TV

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Please press and hold the power button for 30 seconds while disconnecting both internal battery and wall power from the laptop. After that, use an eraser to clean the gold contacts on the RAM sticks, removing any residue or lint before reinserting them into their slots.
It may be helpful to check the motherboard for any signs of damage. If the laptop starts but no display appears and these steps don’t resolve the issue, consider flashing the BIOS on your motherboard. You’ll need a working BIOS version and the CH341A BIOS programming toolkit.

I kept the power button pressed
I wiped the RAM and HD with a eraser
I can't see the screen to access the BIOS.

Also at TG, link just for reference.
Question - Toshiba Laptop won't turn on
Toshiba s55 b5280 doesn't power up. The two front lights illuminate. I don't hear any sound. I tried: held the power button down when unplugged and removed battery, then reattached RAM and connected HD to an external TV.
