I've been working on this for a few hours and haven't made progress. I recently added an Intel X520-DA1 10GbE networking card to my system. My motherboard (Asus TUF Gaming Z690-PLUS Wifi D4) has two PCIe 16 slots. I connected the HBA card into the bottom slot and the networking card into the top slot. Initially, the lights on the networking card lit up when I plugged it in, but after reseating it, they stopped working. When I switched it to a different PCIe slot in Unraid, it didn't light up at all. After removing the card and checking the HBA slot, it functioned properly in another slot. The issue seems to be with the motherboard disabling the second x16 slot when the first is occupied. I also have two M.2 SSDs installed. It's strange.
