Attempting to operate 3090 FE on slot 1 and 3080Ti on slot 2 with a single M.2 NVMe drive. CPU model R7 5800X, power supply RM1000x Corsair Gold MOBO, MSI X570 ACE OS, Windows 11. Second GPU failed to appear in Device Manager. Updated drivers, BIOS, and reset CMOS didn’t help. Initially encountered issues, resolved by changing BIOS PCIe lane to Gen 3 and chipset to Gen 3. It functioned properly for a couple of months until I cleaned dust from the PC. After reassembly, I restarted and the second GPU still wouldn’t show up. Tried switching lanes, enabled 4G decoding in BIOS but it didn’t work. Edited June 9, 2022 by SWAT_ Removed caps and rephrased some sentences.

You mentioned difficulties initially but later found the system functioning properly. What actions were taken at that time? Do you mean cleaning the computer hardware or performing a disk cleanup and reinstalling the operating system?

You ensured all PCIe power connectors were connected to both devices?

I also reinserted the PCIe cables into both cards.
