I received an HP ProLiant ML330 G6 for the first time. Everything seems connected properly, but it won’t power on. I’m unsure what might be wrong and don’t even know how to use it. Any suggestions would be helpful.

plugging in a power cord makes the LED on the back of the PSU light up green. it seems to indicate something is working, though I'm not entirely sure what it means. this old device likely handles basic tasks like a NAS, but it probably won't run your new hypervisor.

The setup uses a dual 750 watt power supply instead of an individual LED near each supply. A manual online reference indicates a motherboard LED indicating power status, which is currently lit. On the front panel, four LEDs are positioned to the left of the power button, with the leftmost one flashing red.

It seems like the issue is likely with a component or several parts that have failed. The server is very old and low-end, making it unsuitable for modern needs because of its high power usage compared to current options like a 50$ i5 4th gen or newer from Dell or HP.

That is actually the same website I found lol. But in that same area I have a different line of small leds that are flashing green, seems like a code, but it's slightly different placement
