Problem with the new setup not activating.
Hey, your PC setup looks good so far, but the PSU keeps clicking during startup. The motherboard LEDs flicker, the power button blinks, and the CPU fan starts, yet the case fans and GPU fans remain silent. You've already tested various cables and connections, including switching PCIe and CPU cables, without success. No need for a paper clip test—just double-check everything carefully. Avoid forcing the 24-pin connector if it feels tight, as that could damage the board.
Disconnect and reconnect the RAM, then verify each one separately and in various locations. Should there be issues, take out your CPU cooler and inspect the CPU for bent pins.
I believe the issue is probably a bad PSU or a short on the motherboard or case that causes the PSU to cut power automatically. If this were you, I’d remove the entire build from the case and test it as an open bench, checking each step—using just one RAM stick, verifying all cables are secure, and trying with integrated graphics if available.
I attempted the RAM solution but it didn’t work. Next, I’ll look into the CPU.
Unfortunately, my CPU lacks built-in graphics, but I’ll try my best. Just make sure you don’t damage anything while removing the 24-pin connector from the motherboard.
