Problem with the new PC not stopping crashes.
Hey guys. I've had this PC for almost a year now and have never been able to play on it properly. Specs: RAM: 1x G.Skill DDR4 16GB 3600 - CL - 16 TZ Royal Elite G Dual Kit - F4-3600C16D-16GTEGC (F4-3600C16D-16GTEGC) ------------------------------ --------- PSU: 1x CORSAIR RMx Series RM1000x - Strømforsyning (intern) - ATX12V / EPS12V - 80 PLUS Gold - AC 100-240 V - 1000 Watt - Europa ------------------------------ --------- SSD : 1x 1 TB SSD Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 NVMe (MZ-V7S1T0BW) W7P (MZ-V7S1T0BW) ------------------------------ --------- SSD: 1x SSD M.2 1TB Samsung 980 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x 4 retail (MZ-V8V1T0BW) ------------------------------ --------- CPU cooler: 1x Deepcool AK620 Processor-køler (R-AK620-BKNNMT-G) ------------------------------ --------- GPU: Sapphire TOXIC Radeon RX 6900 XT Air Cooled 1 CPU: Intel Core i7-12700 K MOBO: ASUS ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 Monitors: 2x ASUS MG248QE screens OS: Windows 11 - 64-bit at first i couldnt get it to play youtube videos for longer than a few min. before the AMD driver came up and it crashed. it doesnt do that anymore atm. I play valheim and i can play around 30min. and it will crash, Same with CSGO, but only like 5min of playing before crashing. i recently wanted to try and play Palworld. i´ve played for 3min. then it crashed, and now when I try and enter a world, i get a crash from Palworld immediately. I can play low graphic games like Idleon etc. without any problems and i can do stresstest and memtest86 with no problems as well. I think i´m chasing bad hardware, i just dont know what could be bad. Hope you guys can help me, as i'm kinda depressed of dropping a bunch of money on something, to not be able to use it at all. Things i´ve tried so far with no luck: Updated BIOS to the latest. Downgraded AMD software Fresh install like 7 times swapped my GPU for my old Strix GTX960 tried a new PSU tried DDU a bunch of times as well Memtest86 all night tons of benchmark test - it wont fail or give error doing those
It's a bit strange but worth considering. Try it on your PC with limited RAM, swap the RAM to another slot, and disable XMP settings in BIOS.
The crashes appear consistently the same each time. They don’t vary based on conditions. For example, it’s always CTD or BSOD. The AMD driver provided a clear error message. My graphics card is installed directly into the slot, not using a riser. The monitor runs at 1080p with a refresh rate of 60Hz; I’ve tested with only one monitor connected. Both Magician and CrystaldiskInfo show the drives as healthy. The 970 Evo Plus was purchased about six months ago. I use Discord, RGB control tools, MSI afterburner, and Asus Crate while gaming. Have you attempted disabling all turbo modes in the BIOS?
Verify the processor heat level. Turn off XMP settings, as they seldom function; this is why I’ve halted activation and opted for the top JEDEC configuration.
