I just acquired a Dell XPS 8300 and wanted to upgrade it as much as I could for its age. I swapped in a new power supply and planned to install an AMD 6500 XT. The system started working fine with its original graphics card, which was quite outdated. However, once I installed the 6500 XT, there was no display connection at all. The GPU fans were spinning but didn’t send any signal. What might be causing this issue? Thanks!

It's probable you're limited to older graphics cards since Dell produces its own parts and might not offer BIOS updates for cards from that era. I've seen newer Dell models from last year struggle with cards released about six years prior. It seems the legacy drivers aren't included in the BIOS for my setup.
