Hi everyone, the fiancé build is complete. She received my CPU since it was missing one. Hardware: 9070xt, 7800x3d 32GB RAM, GSKill Z5 Royal 28CL. Enabling Expo1 in BIOS doesn't start the PC (refer to attached). Motherboard: Aorus X870 Elite Wi-Fi7 Ice I've managed reseating RAM and other fixes. They're in A2 and B2 when Expo is off. Disabling Expo restores normal booting. Thanks in advance for any help!

Can you give an exact model number? If you don't know it, click the SPD Info button in the BIOS (directly under the "Mode" in "Easy Mode" at the top of the screen) and send a screenshot of that screen. What I'd probably start doing for troubleshooting is try to manually set the EXPO profile and not rely on the motherboard to enable those settings. It's not unheard of for motherboard manufacturers to screw up a BIOS update where it won't read EXPO/XMP correctly, so that's what I'd start testing.

Hello, the edited note mentions the RAM model. It seems you're unsure about performing an EXPO manually, but you've had no issues with auto. Feel free to ask for further assistance.

The problem might lie with the voltage setting. Some DDR5 boards struggle in high-voltage mode, which could affect performance. Try manually applying the XMP profile first; if that fails, adjust timings to run at a lower voltage. Since I haven't worked with memory on an AM5 Gigabyte board recently, my guidance may be slightly off. If things don't match up, share screenshots of the differing sections and I'll provide more precise instructions. Open Advanced Mode, select Overclocking, and set DRAM frequency to 6000MT/s. Adjust FCLK to around 2000MHz, UCLK DIV1 to UCLK == MEMCLK, configure VDD and VDDQ to 1.45V, and set vSOC to 1.25V. In the DRAM submenu, enter timings tCL-tRCD-tRP-tRAS (CL26-96). Save with F10 and try booting. A stress test is recommended just in case. If it still doesn't work, clearing CMOS might resolve the issue. This unit can reach 6000MT/s at 1.35V if you apply those settings directly.

I've updated those parameters as requested. The new settings are: CAS Latency 30, tRCD 38, tRP 38, tRAS 96, DDR_VDD 1.35V, DDR_VDDQ 1.35V.
