There are some problems with my motherboard Gigabyte B450 M when I disconnect the power. The system starts booting in a loop through the CPU, DRAM, and VGA lights. It only works again after I press the power and rest button a few times. After trying a CPU swap, it still behaves this way. Anyone know what’s going on or how to fix it?

It appears there may be an issue with the power switch or front panel connections, causing the system to only respond to the reset button.

I verified the wiring, it powers on but loops through post codes, CPU drama, and won’t post unless I press the power button again. After that, it works normally, though unit power seems cheaper. Then it returns to the looping state.

Initially, there was a minor typo in the diagram—please consider fixing it. It seems to reference flaky power/reset switches or a potential PSU problem. Low capacitors may lose voltage when powered off, leading to difficult starts.

I changed the PSU and used a different capitalization; this suggests a motherboard problem. I plan to replace the remaining components in another configuration to determine if the board still has issues.
