So, I have a problem with my microphone (Samson meteor) in CSGO. The microphone works perfectly everywhere else except in game csgo, it works just fine if I go to csgo settings and press "test microphone", but not in game. When I press the push to speak button it shows up in game, but no one can hear me. 1. It is the only active microphone in Windows sound settings. 2. It is the default microphone in Windows. 3. It is the default microphone in steam settings. 4. It is the default microphone in CSGO settings. 5. I have validated the integrity of the game files. I have tried the "lobby_voice_chat_enabled 1", I have also tried to voice_enable 0 and then voice_enable 1. I have tried different binds, I have tried to have the push to speak in the same and different buttons as the steam push to speak key. I have a USB-audio interface plugged into my PC. Is there something I am missing?

I turned it off during gameplay, outside of game, and used the unplugged microphone on the PC. Nothing happened. I’m puzzled because it functions properly in the CSGO audio settings as anticipated, but not within the game itself.

Open the main app, click Steam, then Settings, Voice, and verify your microphone is set as the primary input.

I'm not entirely clear on what you're asking. But I've set up my microphone in settings > sound/voice, specifically the recording device. When I press "test microphone" in Steam, everything functions properly.

If you're using Steam, there should be a voice tab where you can select your microphone. It's possible some teammates don't have their VoIP voice enabled, so good luck!

Consider using your audio interface as the microphone source, or simply connect it directly to the mic without going through the interface.

It is chosen, yet no one can hear me; when I press the microphone icon in the game, it stays blank, as if no sound exists.

The microphone uses a USB connection, which prevents connecting it to an audio interface.

It might be a damaged cable or your microphone isn't functioning correctly.
