Problem with the cooler master hyper 212 fan RGB not functioning.
Hello, I recently purchased a new CPU fan and followed the installation video correctly. However, when I powered on my PC, the fan operated normally except for the RGB lights spinning and functioning. After connecting the RGB cable to the motherboard header, I also tried using the included controller, but it didn’t work. I checked the BIOS settings and increased the CPU fan speed to full power, but the issue persisted. I’m seeking advice on resolving the RGB problem. Thank you!

You purchased the ARGB variant correctly. There are numerous options for that stylish design.
The cooler comes in two types: RGB and ARGB. Some users refer to it as RGB even when it's ARGB. Could you confirm if your Hyper 212 is the RGB model? If it is, verify the connections on the connector—look for a small arrow mark near the tip and match it with your motherboard’s RGB header markings. The pin labeled 12V should be the leftmost one. For ARGB, most systems lack an ARGB header, so standard RGB uses 12V and 4 pins while ARGB uses 5V and 3 pins. Unless you have a converter, they can't be swapped directly.
