Problem with the controller in portal 2
I recently began playing Portal 2 with my girlfriend and stopped midway, likely because the wireless 360 controller isn't functioning properly. It seems to work in most other games except for Battlefield 4, which used to run perfectly with the controller. Except for those two exceptions, the controller works fine in menus but not during gameplay. I've enabled it and tried various console commands without success. Any suggestions?
Did you connect the controller prior to starting your computer? That resolved a comparable issue for me.
