I'm setting up my friends' PC using a Rog Strix Z390-f gaming board and a Lian Li LANCool digital case. I'm having trouble with the system panel and front I/O connections. Basically, the computer won't power on—everything else seems connected properly, except for the startup issue. I think it might be related to the power switch 2-pin cable (power switch and CH), but I'm not familiar with those pins and haven't built PCs before.

Additionally, the mobile receives power because all the LEDs on the mobile and GPU illuminate.

No, using a screwdriver to short the power pins won't work. That method is unsafe and won't power up the device.

Ensure the motherboard includes all standoffs. Disconnect and verify PSU connections. If using an Intel CPU, avoid installing the graphics card. Try booting with just the processor, one RAM stick, and the power supply.

System details: intel i7-9700k, asus rog strix z390-f, asus strix rtx 2070, corsair vengeance rgb pro 3600mhz (2x8), silverstone strider gold 850w, 80 plus gold. Preparing to disassemble and rebuild it without the case for a fresh attempt.
