Problem with the computer not starting.
Hello, I'm having trouble getting my PC to turn on. I removed all peripherals, the GPU, and RAM. The PSU seems fine since my keyboard lights up when connected. I switched to a different PSU but still nothing happened. I tried the "clr cmos" jumper and removed the CMOS battery. After that, I took it to a repair shop. They just used a screwdriver and probably made some changes without explaining. The PC finally turned on yesterday, but today it's still not working. I tried what they suggested, but it didn't help. Anyone have any ideas about what might be wrong? This would really assist me.
The keyboard lights activate when the PC is powered on, but nothing occurs during manual activation—no fans spin and no signals are sent.
It looks like the power comes from the light on my keyboard, and switching to a different PSU didn’t change anything. The device is also relatively new.
It seems you're wondering if swapping the power supply unit also meant changing all its cables. Each manufacturer sets its own requirements for connectors and slots, which can affect performance if not matched properly. This might explain why the motherboard fails to power on after a PSU swap.
