Hey there. I’m facing some issues with my gaming setup. I recently switched from a Thermaltake 650w PSU to a Corsair rm750e 80+ gold model because the latter is considered higher quality. Since installing the new Corsair PSU, I’ve encountered several problems. The main issue is that my monitors are constantly shifting their refresh rates. My two 34-inch large ultrawide monitors always stayed at 160Hz, but now they fluctuate between 160 and 152Hz, sometimes dropping to 134 or even lower. This causes the screens to flicker and occasionally freeze. I never experienced this before the PSU change. After the switch, I removed the Corsair unit and reinstalled the old Thermaltake PSU in hopes it would resolve the problem, but the issue persists. It’s been really frustrating because the computer still works fine otherwise, except when loading games, where the refresh rate instability becomes noticeable. The system performed well before this change, so I’m trying to restore its original performance. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 😁

It would be good to confirm whether the correct new cabling from Corsair was used, as I would inspect the connections and verify that no part of the cable protrudes from the connector.

I connected the Corsair Psu using Corsair's wiring and the Thermaltake Psu with Thermaltake's wiring. No confusion occurred.
