I have an AMD A4 4000 APU paired with a Gigabyte F2A55M-DS2 motherboard. I added a 4GB RAM stick along with the existing 2GB stick, but only 2.47 GB is showing as usable. When using just 2GB, it displays 1.5 GB, which is unstable. I've tried all the tips from YouTube—such as adjusting memory limits and disabling page up—but nothing works. Please help!

It seems to be handled by the built-in GPU.

It supports DDR3 and works with a 4GB stick, though only about 2.47 GB is available. You should expect at least 3+ GB usable according to your expectations.

There could be settings to limit the maximum RAM the IGPU can hold, though I’m not certain about this specific board.

The terminology used in biology appears quite complex.

Navigate to IGX settings and locate the UMA frame buffer size option.
