Hey there, I'm trying to figure out where to get help. I just moved and set everything up. I've been using the GTX 3060 with a Xiaomi 34 monitor without any problems before. After moving, when I play BF2042, the GPU signal would drop sometimes. The PC still works because background apps keep playing sound, but it seems like the game stopped because no audio came through. I think the issue started with an old driver, which I updated to version 516.94 and it worked again. Later, changing the refresh rate from 144Hz to 50 or 60Hz caused the same signal loss, and I had to restart the computer. I'm guessing it's related to the GPU or video settings, but I'm not sure what exactly is wrong. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!

I hope that's true. I just found out today that switching from a full-screen window to Chrome, Teams, or WhatsApp can cause a loss of signal. Is this a typical reason for GPU overheating?
