CPU model is an AMD Ryzen 5 7600x running at 4.7 GHz. Cooler used: Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition 42 CFM. Motherboard: ASRock B850M Riptide WiFi Micro ATX AM5. RAM: 2x 816 GB Lexar Ares DDR5. Storage: Western Digital Blue SN580 500 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME SSD. GPU: ASUS GeForce 1660 Ti. Power supply: MSI MAG A850GL, PCIE5 850W, 80+ Gold certified. Case: All I know is it's an ASUS G10CE. Operating system: Windows 11 Home OEM - DVD 64 Bit. Monitor: Acer KA272, 27.0", 1920 x 1080, 75 Hz.

There are some problems you mentioned. My front panel 3.5mm audio jack stopped showing up after I replaced the motherboard. The PC started up fine then, but after a fresh Windows install it disappeared completely. I updated drivers several times—Realtek® multiple times—and checked for updates in Windows. I changed BIOS settings from 3.50 to 3.40 and then 3.20, but the card still auto-loaded 3.25. Only when I went back to version 3.15 did it appear briefly, though it seemed disconnected even with headphones plugged in. Any suggestions?

I’d simply install the latest BIOS that matches your CPU. Then I’d try a live USB and launch Linux—Linux Mint would be a good choice. This helps pinpoint whether the issue lies with hardware or software. If it functions in Linux, the problem likely relates to Windows or drivers. Just ensure it works there before assuming a deeper fault.

I executed the process and started Linux Mint, but it isn't detected there either, which could indicate a hardware issue. My headphones function properly and are recognized on another machine when connected.

These ports tend to degrade over time. Do you have a microphone available for use? That would likely indicate the headphone jack is worn. If a mic functions, it could mean the jack itself is damaged. You might find suitable replacements on Amazon or contact Asus for possible spare parts.

I only have USB connectors, but they function perfectly on my PC. Those seem like solid options—I’ll consider them. Could a new PC case also help? That’s something to think about too.

This setup with 5.25 / 3.5 bays was also beneficial since they produce panels compatible with those bays. I searched online about your case, but it seems this isn't available for you.

Yes, that could work. You can opt for a fresh, identical model—same material and brand—rather than swapping out the case entirely.

I agree. Are you really invested in this situation? I think the best first step would be contacting Asus; they might send replacement parts if you reach out. Sometimes simply requesting part numbers or purchasing from a supplier will get you what you need. This could also be a chance to upgrade your case for better airflow. Running an extension cable from the back to connect headphones is another option, though it would mean turning off the speakers when using headphones since they wouldn't switch inputs. A Y-cable could work too. The main drawback would be that the speakers would shut down automatically. Another possibility is...

These are solid alternatives too; I have several options to evaluate. I’m not strongly tied to the case, so swapping it wouldn’t be an issue. I’ll follow your guidance and make a decision—this should count as a response. Thanks for the support!
