I purchased a 3060ti used from Facebook Market. After turning it on, everything worked smoothly for about half an hour. The issue began with all games crashing. I’ve already reset the GPU update driver and reinstalled it, but it seems GPU isn’t overclocked. The more demanding the game, the faster it crashes. When it does crash, GPU usage jumps to 100%. I haven’t found any fixes yet. Here are two videos showing a recurring problem in RDR2. I deleted the game and reinstalled it, but the issue persists. CPU-Ryzen 5600 PSU-600w silver EVGA RAM-32GB Vengeance 3600MB Asus B550 tested all components and they function properly. The main problem appears to be with the GPU. IMG_1231.mov IMG_1231.mov

The card uses an auxiliary power connector similar to a 2 by 8 pin configuration. Make sure you have two distinct cables from the PSU to the card.

The power consumption during a crash appears in the HWINFO64 data when using sensors-only mode, producing an Excel file you can review. You can examine it at your convenience. Regarding the power supply, there isn’t a standard 600W Silver EVGA unit available; older graphics cards often used less than 600W, so the issue might stem from a faulty PSU rather than the card itself.

I’ll save and execute it now and inform you this evening about what I find. It seems the usage reaches 100% during crashes.

It’s an 8 and a six, and I’m pretty sure I’ll look into it again later, but there’s one cable that splits into two.

When the PSU has more than one set of 8 pins, you must use two cables.

I haven't heard that before, but I'll likely swap the PSU next time.

Is this standard procedure? Yes. Mandatory? No. Applies to a 3060ti? Not required for it. Stock clocks can reach 210W under worst-case conditions. This comes from the 1 8-pin and X16 connector.
