I assembled the computer and encountered numerous issues. Bench testing revealed that nearly every component was significantly underperforming, and every game I run suffers from severe lag compared to anything else available.

Someone suggested checking the motherboard or ensuring components are correctly installed.

Ram likely isn't using XMP because it's clocked at 2133 MHz. You should be able to adjust this in the BIOS by turning on XMP. Your SSD might require its own drivers rather than Windows ones to reach those speeds. Consider using MSI Center for that purpose... https://www.msi.com/Storage/M371-NVMe-M....Me-M.2-1TB Regarding your CPU and GPU, ensure all Windows updates are installed, motherboard drivers are up to date, and the correct AMD GPU driver is present. Keep an eye on your temperatures—this situation could cause thermal throttling. A simple way to check temps is to download HWiNFO64 and open it with the "Sensors" option. Note that Lag refers to network problems, not low FPS (unless you mean input lag, which is unrelated).

I remember thinking I had enabled XMP, but I’ll double-check later. Right now I’m installing the drivers to find out what happens.

No matter the situation, you require quicker memory. 2133 MHz RAM isn't suitable for everyone.

I enabled the AMD equivalent of XMP and rerun the test; though userbenchmark isn’t precise, I don’t have $35 for 3DMark. The CPU resumed working normally! It mentioned RAM but seems off. Installing SSD drivers felt tricky with MSI Center.

It seems your system's RAM was actually at 2133 MHz instead of the expected 3200 MHz. You likely enabled DOCP or an XMP profile for AMD to optimize performance.

Ensure RAM operates at its maximum default speed.
