Hey! I'm having trouble streaming on Twitch tonight with OBS. I experienced the same problem last Friday too. My internet speed seems normal, and I haven’t changed any settings since my last successful stream a week ago. The "STOP STREAMING" button is taking longer than usual to finish. I’ve rebooted the router, computer, and even rolled back OBS to an older version. Since I’m on my ISP’s top plan, throttling shouldn’t be the issue. I can still handle file transfers and uploads easily. I managed to stream successfully a few days ago using my phone’s hotspot, which suggests there’s a connection problem. I’m still trying to figure out what’s causing it.

The upload volume is modest. Streaming depends on uploads.

Here are the details you shared:
The numbers from your ISP indicate stable router-to-network speeds, but device-to-network performance is unclear.
Additional observations: uploading large photo sets to your hosting service feels extremely slow in Chrome, yet fast with the provider's Windows app.
You're testing on a wired connection.

Update: Wi-Fi appears to function well, but the wired link between your router and PC seems to be the problem. I'm considering contacting your ISP to see if they can replace the connection.

Restart the router or switch to a different Ethernet cable.

Right there with you - swapping out the router this morning and waiting on a new ethernet cable to arrive. I tried a different ethernet cable last night and got the same results, so hopefully this will fix it. I think the only point of failure left after that would be the network card.

Changed the router, replaced the Ethernet link between the fiber box and the router, swapped the cable from the computer to the router, and so on. The issue is whether disconnecting the Ethernet and switching to Wi-Fi still works—everything seems fine. Your wired connection is slower for uploads compared to Wi-Fi when both use the same router and network card.
