Boot problems: Cannot start with GPU in. Fan doesn't ramp up. PSU clicks on relay but no more. CPU lacks its own graphics. Boot works without GPU, but without visuals it feels empty. Indicator lights change when turned on without the GPU. They flash once and then the VGA light appears since output isn't possible. I'm having trouble finding guides for deeper troubleshooting. QFLASH'd the system to the newest BIOS. Should I do anything else or download files to let the board work with the GPU? Details: B760M C (1.0) BIOS, ASUS 4070 OC, CPU 15 12600kf, Windows 11, Corsair, 32GB, Corsair 750W PSU.

No, I haven't checked the GPU on another system yet.

Have you checked other display options with the graphics card?

No content from this generation. They're also pre-releases and don't want to interfere.

Sure, just share the photo of your setup. That way we can quickly check if there are any visible issues.

Do you prefer using the display port or HDMI? Sometimes the display port needs the operating system before it works properly. Start with HDMI for easier setup.

Checked the display port and found no changes in booting. On the board’s lower right corner, I believe there’s an independent head spreader for the Intel B760 chipset. During unboxing, a part from the heat spreader came loose during shipping, possibly causing it to shift. I located a spring that could push the pin back into place within the motherboard. At the time, I couldn’t see any signs of damage under the head spreader and didn’t know its condition. My concern is whether such damage could prevent the CPU from communicating with the GPU.
