Hello! I recently assembled my new PC and wanted to boot into BIOS. At first, the machine started and let me enable X3D Turbo Mode before progressing to the next screen (it prompted whether I wanted to reset the fTPM). While searching for information, it paused for about 20-30 seconds before shutting down completely. Now I’m unable to boot again, and I’m puzzled by the situation. When I press the power button, the RAM RGB indicator lights up and there’s a faint clicking noise. I’m certain the cables were connected properly and the CPU cooler was installed correctly, though I experienced some minor difficulties with the mounting. It’s securely fastened but required a few adjustments and a bit of thermal paste application. I also tried resetting CMOS by removing the battery and restarting, but the same issue persisted—only the RAM RGB turned on with a click. Please help me figure out what went wrong. Thanks ahead of time. EDIT: Attached parts list if it might assist. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Dh8btC

Locate the CMOS switch. These latest boards retain configurations temporarily even without CMOS or when power is off. The switch ensures full removal of CMOS functionality.

You're not going to like this, but if I were you, I'd disassemble everything and run tests one part at a time. Start with the PSU, CPU, RAM, and GPU—just that. If it boots and you can enter BIOS, move on. Next, install the main SSD or OS drive, restart, check BIOS settings, tweak if necessary. Then add the GPU, test again. Keep repeating this process until everything functions. Do the same steps when putting it together in the case. This way, you can pinpoint whether a specific part is causing issues. Go slow and methodical—it's the best way, in my opinion.

I'm exhausted from hours of building and can't figure out how to finish everything right now. But honestly, it might be the only choice left. I have an IT expert who helped with internet setup, so maybe I'll ask him to take a look unless I lose the motivation for the rest of the weekend. DAMN IT, I really hoped things would just *function* like they did with my first PC ten years ago... *cries in denial*

I’ve realized it’s simpler to tackle things one at a time or face what comes next head-on.
