Hi Everyone, I installed an NVMe drive on my Windows 10 system using one of the two NVMe ports. My aim was to clone it for booting and then transfer it to a bigger drive for another machine. When I connected it, the setup began but stalled because the system didn’t meet Windows 11 specs. I removed the drive and restored the original Windows 10 NVMe, but now the computer fails to recognize it. Restarting via BIOS reset works fine, yet it disappears from the boot list on subsequent reboots. After reinstalling Windows, I’ve tried troubleshooting tools but haven’t found a solution. My motherboard is Huananzhi with an X99 Xeon processor, and the machine has been reliable for years. Any suggestions?

I just swapped the Windows 10 NVMe for the Windows 11 NVMe. When it became clear it wouldn't boot, I restored it.

Found the fix in BIOS. There was a setting named boot filters UEFI & LEGACY LEGACY ONLY UEFI ONLY. I changed it to just UEFI ONLY and it resolved the issue.
