Problem with startup is occurring.
Hey there, I'm facing a tricky issue. My BIOS won't boot, and when I try to open it (pressing 'DEL' at startup), the screen just goes blank with no input. Previously it worked, but now it's not. I've tried restarting multiple times, removing RAM, graphics card, hard drive, and even changing the CMOS battery for 15 minutes before reinserting it. I also shorted the CMOS jumper using a screw on my MSI H410M PRO-E. After all that, I thought about flashing the BIOS again, but my motherboard doesn't have a dedicated button and I can't use M-flash since the BIOS isn't responding. My system details are: CPU - Intel Core i5 10400F at 2.90 GHz, GPU - Nvidia GTX 1650 4GB, RAM - 8GB x 2 at 2667 MHz, HDD - TOSHIBA HDWD110 1TB. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Should I replace the power supply unit? Since you're playing games and the graphics card appears to function properly.
GPU refers to the graphics card. Your setup might not be compatible due to BIOS settings, causing discrepancies in resolution or functionality. If you have another card, test it to see if the issue persists.
After checking, it seems the board may have video capabilities but struggles with BIOS integration. Resetting the BIOS by removing and reinserting the battery can resolve some problems. Adjust system time and explore default video settings in BIOS. Occasionally, the card works perfectly with a capable CPU, while others face issues. It’s unusual but can happen.
