Problem with starting your computer.
Working with a Z170 Pro Gaming/Aura board using DDR4 32GB G.Skill RipJaws, 16GB G.Skill Trident Z RAM, Intel 6700G CPU, GTX 1080 GPU, Corsair H110i cooler, and Evga 750Q PSU was manageable yesterday. I’ve done some minor upgrades before—adding RAM and storage—but this time I aimed for a cleaner setup since I plan to replace parts later. No new components were added; instead, I just cleared out dust from the cooler, fans, and PSU connections. It seems there might be an issue with the BIOS, as the lights don’t stay on after the first boot and the GPU connection fails. I checked the build photos and a video of the BIOS lights, but it’s unclear if something is broken.
Remove all PSU cables, then plug only the CPU 8-pin, 24-pin, and nothing else into the case. Take out the GPU as well and connect via the motherboard video output. If no signal appears, use the CMOS battery again. Ensure the PC is unplugged. Once done, return and share the outcome.
It could be that the AIO's CPU fan isn't connected to the main CPU fan connector, and temperature readings might be incorrect.
Everything seems to be reconnected on the PSU. The PC appears to be operating normally now. The AI is running very quickly, which could indicate an issue with it. CPU temperatures are between 20-35°C during Windows boot, and RAM and disks have been detected. Thanks for the assistance!
