Hello everyone, I just assembled a new setup: CPU Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB RAM (HyperX 32GB RGB), 3200MHz CL16 graphics card (Radeon RX 5700 XT), ASUS TUF B550 PLUS motherboard, and an Erp S4 + S5 GPU. The PSU is an LDLC 650W 80+ gold fully modular unit. I installed Corsair Spec delta RGB SSD with Kingston A20000 500GB NVMe DOCP enabled (profile #1 at 3200MHz). The BIOS was flashed, and everything functions properly except for a cold boot issue. When I power it off and reset the case, it restarts cleanly. After resetting, the system shows a steady orange DRAM LED—fans spin, RAM lights up late, but no sync issues. If I don’t reset, it boots normally.
From a full cold boot without DOCP enabled, it works perfectly. The RAM isn’t on the motherboard’s QVL, which might affect compatibility. I’m wondering if I can find the correct timings for this kit to set it up manually. I tried the XMP settings in CPU-Z but they weren’t stable—once I booted, an error appeared and the timings changed automatically. Or should I wait for a BIOS update that would fix this? It’s not clear if that will happen. Thanks for your help!
Start by writing this in white text so everyone can see it. Next, clear the CMOS, set the SOC to 1.1 DRAM to 1.35, then perform a manual adjustment of 3000 using docp on MemTest86 and OCCT. If everything checks out, proceed with 3200. Finally, run MemTest86 and OCCT again at gloop—this beats me to it this time!
Check the recommended clock speeds for 3000 MHz and review the BIOS DOCP guidelines. Consider adjusting the FCLK frequency if needed.

CMOS reset done, SOC and DRAM voltages set to 1.1 and 1.35, tried booting at 3000 with standard JEDEC timings – worked, but CPU-Z showed odd timing values (22-21-21 vs expected 17-17-17). Attempted boot at 3000 with DOCP profile enabled – successful, timings remained consistent (16-18-18). After a cold start, I tried booting at 3200 with DOCP profile – also succeeded, timings stayed steady. Failed during another cold boot attempt at 3200 with DOCP profile.
They are located in slots 2 and 4. Adjust the DRAM voltage to 1.4 and verify.
They work. I used 1.4 drams of voltage and it didn’t let me cold boot.
