I swapped the old HDD for an OCZ Arc 100 240gb SSD inside my Series 5 ultrabook. I reinstalled the operating system using a USB created from converting my Windows 8.1 disc to an ISO. The installation worked mostly, though there were a few minor issues. When the computer shuts down, it displays messages like 'All boot options tried...'. In the BIOS I changed the boot drive to the SSD and disabled the Secure Boot feature. The only way to access the OS is by connecting the USB with the ISO and following that process. How can I resolve this?

It seems like you're confirming a situation where Bootrec.exe didn't find any Windows installations.

You installed it from a USB onto a new SSD, but while setting up you encountered the location selection screen. Several other spots were available, and you removed them because the SSD was configured in GPT. Did this affect the issue you were facing?

The partitions were removed as intended. It seems another issue occurred during the process. Did you manage to start Windows from the SSD?

I can access the OS only after inserting the USB. I need the USB connected first, then press the continue button.
