Hey, I'm heading off for a trip and don't need to worry about getting another component. At least the Gigabyte motherboard is all set—CPU and PSU fans are working fine!

Look for the closest physical store to buy PC components, check if they carry Zen models and see if they can assist with BIOS updates for a modest charge.

The B550 motherboard came out before Zen 3 was announced. There’s still some older stock available, probably from earlier models. The B450 is even more outdated.

Well, it looks like a possible B550 might be coming. The OP's motherboard is B450, so I'm not sure yet, and I don't have an older Zen board to test. From what I recall, there were some discussions about chipset limitations after flashing for Zen 3, but I can't remember if it was the B450 or something else.
