The power source functions without being connected to the motherboard. I've checked the manuals, tried removing and reattaching it, but it doesn't power up.

Confirm the front panel header links (PWR / RESET / HDD, etc.). It's simple to remove a pin there, which could stop the system from turning on.

The only alternative method to restart is by pressing a particular pin combination on the ATX port, though I doubt it would work if the motherboard is already plugged in. Edited January 24, 2023 by An0maly_76 Updated, additional details
