Problem with starting the computer due to insufficient RAM modules installed.
Hello everyone, here’s my list of components: R7 5800x RTX 3080 Asus X570 Crosshair Formula 32gb (8x4) Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 3000mhz EVGA SuperNOVA 1300 GT Sabrent Rocket 3.0 1TB Sabrent Rocket 3.0 2TB. I recently bought a crosshair board since my old one had no available PCIe slot. Before shipping, it was checked for issues. Right now I’m facing a problem where the board won’t post with all four RAM slots filled. I made sure the BIOS is up to date, but it still won’t boot when all four sticks are connected. It freezes on Qcode 76. I cleared the CMOS and removed two RAM modules (A2 and B2 channels are working). After that, it posts and runs, but fails when DOCP is enabled. I’ve also seen Qcode 0D appear with four sticks turned off and DOCP disabled. Once I got past that on my previous board, it never happened again.
Some unusual issues were detected. 0D indicates an AMI SEC error and 76 points to a PCH DXE initialization problem. These typically aren't linked to RAM faults. QCodes are listed on page 95 of the provided document.
