Hello, I just upgraded my PC from an old pre-built motherboard and a 9th Gen Intel i3-9100F to a new Gigabyte B560M D3H Micro ATX with an 11th Gen Intel i7-11700F. After finishing the installation and connecting all cables, when I try to power it on, it doesn’t turn on at all. Only the RGB lights up for my RAM. None of the fans—PSU, CPU, or case—spin. The PSU is non-modular. Could you find any troubleshooting tips or instructions? Thanks.

Verify the front panel connectors on the motherboard or attempt to connect the two power switch pins on the motherboard. Shift the RAM stick into the second slot. Swap the fake 700W power supply for a functional one (avoiding no POST errors but ensure it works).

The PSU seems quite low quality, likely insufficient for the motherboard or CPU. The GPU adapter also doesn't seem ideal. A more reliable option would be something like an MSI AGF, even though a budget model such as System Power 9 or EVGA BQ would perform better.

However, this PSU performed adequately prior to the motherboard and CPU modifications.

I've been using the same power supply unit for two years with this GPU and the old motherboard. It seems like I might have connected the cables incorrectly.

Reconnect all connections again, though a 11700F requires significantly more energy compared to a 9100F.

I understand the others' concerns about the PSU, but I don't believe it's essential at this point. Consider rearranging everything, including the CPU, verifying all power cables are correctly connected, and relocating the RAM to slot B2. Also, think about adding a second RAM stick for better dual-channel performance.

I have another memory card, but I was just using one since it’s suggested for starting up on the first attempt. I’ll attempt to fix all the connections and the CPU. I’m hoping it will work and I won’t need to send it to a repair shop.

It worked nicely after moving the memory stick to the second slot and disconnecting the case fan from the motherboard. Thanks a lot to everyone for your help!
