Attempted manual adjustments to voltage, latency, and frequency settings. Same performance issues persisted. System booted normally but failed to post after restart. Required multiple power cycles, testing one RAM stick at a time to reach posting. Reset to defaults and disabled XMP in BIOS was necessary. Rolled back BIOS to an earlier version, but the problem remained. At this stage, replacing RAM is necessary just to verify functionality. If another RAM brand claims compatibility with AMD, the issue likely stems from the motherboard or memory controller. Overall, it’s frustrating—functioned well until a prolonged reboot, then continued to fail.

Essentially I checked my memory purchase on multiple platforms, all recommending RAM that works with both AMD and Intel. The sites I used—like GSKill and the original retailer—listed AMD/INTEL compatibility. Now the listings say it’s only for Intel, and even the EXPO AMD version I found is different. It seems a microcode update might have affected compatibility, though the RAM itself has performed well for months without problems. It looks like it wasn’t a defective unit but simply not meant for my system after a few months.
