Hey there! I’ve got a issue with my Gigabyte GA-AB350M-DS3H v2. After updating from F1 to F2, I can still boot into Windows or BIOS, but it stops working after a restart. The specs are: AMD Athlon X4 950 (not overclocked), top 8GB GSKILL Aegis 2666MHz DDR4, 128GB SSD, SATA 500GB drive, Toshiba HDD GTX 1050 Gaming 2GB from MSI Corsair CX550 power supply. I need advice on how to protect my motherboard.

Verify if you're certain only BIOS version F2 was applied. It seems that any subsequent BIOS updates disable CPU support...

The issue remains unchanged, displaying only a black screen on the monitor.

It's not F2, it's model f31 since they suggest a gigabyte recommendation.

Confirmed, that's the point I made. All bios after F2. If the OP unknowingly added something like F30, that might be the issue.

Confirm the help section - https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-...support-dl Because of BIOS ROM constraints, APU from Bristol Ridge (AMD 7th Gen A-series/Athlon™ X4 series) isn't available. EDIT - That applies to F30, not F31...
