Problem with starting a Windows 11 setup from a USB drive on the laptop.
I own a portable Ubuntu setup used across several devices. It functioned properly on my Lenovo laptop running Windows 11, and both operating systems operated without issues. Now I can't start Windows but Ubuntu remains functional. I've attempted various fixes and even reinstalled Windows via USB, yet it still won't boot. The drive with Windows installed was completely erased, so it no longer contains Windows.
I notice the USB connection works in Ubuntu, yet fails to load during Windows startup or appears in BIOS. This USB has previously been used to install Windows on other computers.
When starting directly into BIOS or changing the boot sequence, the USB device is typically excluded from consideration.
Not exactly what you expect, getting only USB HDD, USB FDD, etc., and even when USB HDD is first, it doesn't boot properly. With the portable SSD connected to Ubuntu, the drive name appears next to USB HDD.
