A few weeks ago I purchased a new splitter, but since then I've started experiencing worse ping and lag spikes. Could this be connected to it? I use my splitter as an extension for the main cable—would connecting the router directly to the main wire and using a wifi adapter on the PC fix the issue?

The issue started after that moment, and the splitter is the cause.

Connecting the direct cable straight to the router improves speed and reduces latency compared to using a splitter with an Ethernet connection.

I don’t know a reliable splitter available in Egypt, most options seem very inexpensive and low quality.

Your internet speed has been adjusted to 15MBPS. This change might influence latency and connection reliability, so monitor performance closely.

It seems like you're expressing concern about something. Could you clarify what you mean?

You can try addressing the issue directly, seeking advice, or taking steps to resolve it based on your situation.

Request your internet provider to increase your connection speed. Have you reduced your plan? Probably not, as they shouldn’t be allowed to do that.

they mentioned the maximum line speed is 10 Mbps, which is why I receive it, though occasionally I see 11
