I own this Sony Bravia KDL-46V5100 for 14 years, and after I left it on, when I returned I noticed the screen was blue and yellow. I didn’t know what to do, and then the screen went black. The power supply still works, so I’m unsure if the internal board failed or if the LCD is defective.

Indeed, there can be many possibilities. How did the blue and yellow appear? If it looked like snow or static, likely an input filter. If it featured geometric shapes, probably a logic board. If it consisted of lines, maybe a driver board. Etc. Best of luck!

It was a static snapshot of the match I played, with a blue and yellow color scheme.

It seems like a logic board setup. To start troubleshooting, test your TV on another computer. If it doesn’t work, consider getting an estimate from a repair shop. However, I think fixing an old TV isn’t worth the cost, especially since newer models use much less power.

No, they don't produce replacement components.

Various platforms offer these components, including Aliexpress and eBay. Some vendors disassemble used TVs to resell the parts.

Likely only a small selection available.

I found another TV with the same model, removed its board, and placed it in my TV.
