Problem with shutting down the system!
I used an alienware 2700 series with an ASUS Sabirtooth board, an i5 6900, and an MSI 980 Ti. It worked well for years until I stopped using it after college. Recently I began playing Fortnite again and experienced no problems for a year, but now the system automatically shuts down during intense graphics tasks like fast character animations with shields. I upgraded to an MSI Z490 Pro with an i7 10700K, 32GB RAM, kept using the 980 Ti, and added a NXT Kraken cooler. The issue persists even after adjusting thermal settings. The only other possibility is the PCU—its 90W should provide sufficient power, but I’m still stuck. Any suggestions?
I think it's likely a Dell model that came with the Alienware line in 2005 or 2006. I purchased it from my brother in 2008 because I really liked its appearance, and I've been working on rebuilding it twice to improve its condition. I'm thinking about replacing the CPU when prices drop just to confirm there aren't any other options available.
