I was extremely frustrated, checking all videos and articles online to try overclocking my Ryzen 3 2200G. I followed every step correctly—set core frequency to 3.85 and graphics to 1500. After clicking "apply and test," it displayed the core frequency as 3.5 (default) instead of 3.85, and the graphics frequency as 1100 (default) instead of 1500. Another issue is that I can't find any overclock options in my BIOS, except for memory OC.

Which MB? Many, mainly A320 models, do not allow overclocking.
