I'm really struggling and need assistance. I bought a prebuilt from NZXT (sorry, I feel embarrassed). My setup includes a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU, Gigabyte 3070, 16 GB RAM (specs unclear), M.2 120mm cooler, and the MOBO MPG X570 gaming Wi-Fi. The CPU temps during idle hover between 60-70°C, and now gaming is impossible because the temperatures rise too high, causing crashes. NZXT didn’t help much, though they sent a replacement cooler about a year ago (same model) without issues. Now it’s even worse—the cooler spikes and causes problems even when browsing. I’m considering a new 240mm cooler but want to confirm it works. I have almost no PC experience, so any guidance on troubleshooting before buying would be invaluable. Thanks!
High probability the cooler they delivered was an AIO while the pumps malfunctioned; air coolers typically survive better, or perhaps the pressure wasn’t sufficient for the CPU. To be precise, are we talking about an air cooler versus an AIO? For the H510, opting for a regular air cooler is straightforward and tends to endure longer than any AIO or water cooler. The 5600X model doesn’t require a premium AIO or water cooler—any affordable air cooler will suffice.
Consider removing the front panel of the case since it's tightly sealed. If that doesn't reduce the temperature, examine the AIO. Since my 5600x stays cool with a Hyper 212 during Halo Infinite, it seems the issue isn't there.

Consider the instructions for correct setup. If you did it right, the pumps could have failed. Grab an air cooler instead—an AIO isn't worth it for a 5600x.
Thank you! It seems they might have distributed items since the first cooler began causing issues after a year, and it's been nearly the same time since switching to the new one with no further problems.
Never used NZXT's AIO before, so dunno if they sent their AIO with a protective sticker on the CPU block plate, so check that as well. None? now try taking off side panel. Also, give us more details, how many fans you are using for intake?, do you mount the AIO as exhaust ?, what's your room ambient temp ? What temp your CPU & GPU sitting at while under load ?
