I've been attempting to capture videos with OBS on my Windows 11 notebook via a connected camcorder using an HDMI cable. OBS works for both video and voice, but it doesn't pick up music. I've also tried linking the audio source through a USB cable without any luck when recording music. The voice part is fine, but the music isn't. Any suggestions?

Verify the camcorder configurations. It might be sending multi-channel audio, while OBS is capturing only two channels. Try adjusting it to output stereo.

I did. The issue concerns privacy. I turned it on in Windows and it functions properly but only for vocals. When music plays, nothing is picked up by OBS except vocals. It works perfectly on Windows 8.1 on my older machine. No problems there.
