Hey there, I previously had a soundboard called "dcsb" and tried to reinstall it today. Last time I followed a YouTube tutorial, this time I went through a different one. That video used "voicemeter banana" instead of "vb audio cable," so I downloaded both. I followed the instructions carefully, and everything functioned properly this time. However, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. By the way, I still had the "vb audio cable" installed from before.

I decided to remove the "voicemeter banana," "vb audio cable," and "dcsb." In the Windows Programs and Features section, I uninstalled them. After that, I restarted my computer to finish the process. When it booted up again, I noticed my Realtek headset microphone wasn’t working. I checked it in Discord and the recording devices settings.

I’ve already tried several fixes without success:
- Updated Realtek drivers (had the latest)
- Installed the newest Realtek driver (even though it was updated)
- Reinstalled all three files and uninstalled them again
- Attempted to recover the whole system and drivers (unsuccessful)
- Restarted the computer over 1 million times
- Set the microphone to standard in recording devices and listened afterward

I’m 100% confident the real microphone isn’t the issue. I also believe "dcsb" wasn’t responsible. I have an OMEN laptop, and I’m currently using a poor built-in microphone. Feel free to ask any questions—I’ll do my best to help quickly. Thanks for reading, and I really appreciate your support!
