Hi everyone, I just changed my power supply and now my PC struggles to run my RAM at full speed without getting stuck in bootlooping, eventually entering BIOS safe mode. After turning off XMP, things stabilize but I’m downclocked to 2133 MHz. The odd part is that with a single 16GB stick and XMP enabled, everything works smoothly. Before the PSU change, all three RAM sticks functioned perfectly. My thought is either there’s physical damage in the motherboard (maybe the tower was tipped) or a BIOS issue—seems like forums mentioned something unrelated to hardware. P.S. I’ve re-seated the CMOS already, but I might try again. If anyone else has experienced these issues, please share. Thanks for any advice! Specs: CPU Ryzen 5600X RAM 48GB 3600MHz DDR4 GPU RTX 3070Ti MOBO GIGABYTE TUF B450M-PLUS GAMING PSU Corsair rm850x Ty! Edit: It turns out the real problem is running three channels, not the stuff I listed. fml. My RAMs are fine otherwise."

Are you trying to run 3 sticks at 3600Hz or just 2? Ryzen 5 models struggle with more than 2 sticks at that speed.

You're unsure about running three DIMMs at once, but try enabling XMP and lowering the speed slowly to see if it starts up. Running more than two DIMMs can cause problems like this.

It seems to be working well with just two components. The RAM problem appeared only in older Ryzens versions. Appreciate that!

I've been using 3x dimms because I found them at a good price, didn't realize 5th gen Ryzen still had issues with them, especially for Adobe stuff. But 2 dimms worked and I didn't test it until after reading this, thanks!

Even with 7000, performance remains limited; they manage lower speeds but hit a ceiling at DDR5-6400. Going beyond that isn't feasible compared to Intel. The 3x Dimm setup isn't ideal since the third stick only works in single-channel mode—unless you have a specific reason.
