I saved the hardware details and noticed my RAM was only at 1800 MHz despite thinking I adjusted it to 3600 MHz. After opening BoIS and enabling DOCP, nothing changed. I checked BoIS settings for memory overclocking and set it to 3600 MHz, but the system won’t enter BoIS or start properly. Please assist.

I don't have personal details about your motherboard or RAM. Could you provide more information or clarify what you're asking?

Hi, I see you're trying to wrap your head around DDR and its meaning. It seems like the explanation was simplified, and now you're curious about what it really means. If you're still confused, feel free to ask for clarification!

Spoiler 1800 is the accurate pace, according to @EdOrange—it will appear as half the rate, meaning 1800 equals 3600. Consider resetting the CMOS, then after booting, turn on the DOCP and verify it displays 1800 again. This guide can assist if you're not sure about clearing CMOS or its purpose (restores BIOS to factory settings): https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ssors.html

Yes, it's possible to clear the CMOS. If the RAM settings you adjusted aren't letting the PC start, resetting the CMOS should help. Check if the computer is booting now or not.
