How can I address the fan noise issue with the DeepCool PQ650M PSU (R-PQ650M-FA0B-EU)? Many users have encountered this problem, and it seems similar issues arise from other manufacturers. The squeaking from the throttles is also a contributing factor. Which PSU with an active cooling switch should I select to eliminate both fan noise and throttle squeak?

I've never experienced a power supply that produces noticeable noise.
the recent models—Super Flower Leadex III, Dark Power Pro 11, Seasonic GX—are quiet. They don’t require cooling or quiet settings since they use superior fans with improved bearings, keeping the noise below even moderate usage levels.
if the product isn’t covered by warranty, you might replace the fan yourself with a higher-quality alternative.
this approach can be tricky depending on your system’s interior configuration.
alternatively, if you manage to maintain low temperatures overall, the PSU fan may rarely reach a level that creates audible sounds.
while DeepCool has released some premium units, most of their PSUs fall in the mid to lower price range.
if it remains under warranty, I’d likely request a replacement via RMA and trust it works smoothly.
even then, I’d opt to purchase a new DeepCool unit instead.
