I was adding a Hard Drive to my PC, and it was all plugged in, and now it doesn't work. There is an orange light on my Asus b550ma wifi 2, and I've reseated everything and tried to short the pins, but nothing is working. I've taken out the HDD too, but someone please help. It looks like a basic machine with an AMD stock cooler, four RAM sticks, and a Sapphire AMD GPU. I’m confused why it won’t boot now. Did you attempt to reset the CMOS memory? The orange light likely indicates the DRAM status, so try booting with just one RAM stick and test in another slot until it starts. The HDD issue doesn’t seem connected.
