Problem with power supply or hardware issues.

I recently assembled my computer and it started up multiple times. After turning it off and back on, it still won’t power on. I’m optimistic the power supply unit is functioning (at least that’s my assumption). Now I’m wondering if something went wrong with the MOBO. Please assist. I don’t want to replace the whole system.

It could be a simple issue like the power switch cable failing to engage, meaning there are no fans running, no signs of activity, and essentially nothing working.

I agree with @Tetras. Verify the power switch cables are securely placed. If confirmed, inspect the PSU to ensure the power plug is tight and all connections are solid. If issues persist, do you have an additional PSU available for testing?

Check if the PSU has a power switch and see if it’s been accidentally turned off.

The problem was with a section of the MOBO that wasn't functioning properly. I had to replace it. The computer is now running smoothly (this is what I'm submitting).
