Consider using the GameMax RGB 850w instead of the white 650w, as it might be more suitable.

What is the precise Corsair 700W power supply? I don't recall any other models besides the GS 700W, which seems to be quite outdated now.
You don't require an 850W power supply, and GameMax isn't regarded as a trustworthy brand. A decent 650W PSU would suffice much better than what you're considering.
I'm a bit puzzled about the current situation with your eight-pin connectors. It's difficult to understand from the explanation, but it seems there might be a risk of incorrect connections being made. If that's the case, it's possible you no longer have functional parts to test, and switching from a faulty PSU won't solve the issue.

I changed the Corsair 700W to my new setup and everything works properly again. It started up, I installed Windows 11 Pro, and all my games are now running on the 500W 2.5 SSD. Cheers.

Excited to know nothing got harmed by the junk PSU. Hope the Corsair isn't a permanent fix; it seems quite outdated for the GS 700.

The power supply I'm utilizing is the Thermaltake Smart 700W 80+ White Certified PSU.

That's a terrible group regulated PSU.

Oh no, that's scary. I hope it had been a 10-year-old Corsair GS 700.
