Your LG TV supports HDR well on your PC, but the display on the TV appears dimmer in the Plex app. This could be due to differences in how the content is encoded or displayed between devices. Check if the HDR settings are enabled correctly on both the PC and the TV. Also, ensure the Plex server is running with proper HDR support and that your network connection is stable. Consider testing with a different source or adjusting the display settings on the TV.
I think skipping HDR content completely would be a better choice. It really underperforms, especially with the weak contrast and no local dimming. If you're only seeing what you've experienced with standard HDR, I regret to inform you it falls short.
